About Me

I'm a UX and game designer from Seattle, WA.

I have a decade of game dev experience at some of the leading developers in the mobile and casual game space. I love working behind the scenes on games that players love, whether I'm building a new experience from the ground up, or iterating on a live title in response to feedback and user data.

When I'm off the clock, I'm usually playing games, (of the tabletop or video variety,) at work on a new Lego creation, or playing with my dog, Zoe. In the winter, you'll probably find me with my skis on a mountain somewhere.

CAPITAL GAMES - Sacramento, CA
Senior Game Designer - June 2022-Present

Game Designer II - November 2020-June 2022
- Joined the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Design team.
      - Developed the character of Tech, from The Bad Batch, for inclusion in SW:GoH.
- Joined the Feature team to develop future feature releases for the game.

POPCAP GAMES - Seattle, WA
Game Designer II - Dec 2017-November 2020
      - Helmed combat design for the soft-launched Plants vs. Zombies 3, including designing and balancing all plants and zombies.
- Spearheaded design and development for multiple PvZ3 features.
- Worked with the art team during concepting and development of new characters, with a focus on inclusivity and representation.
Contract Game Designer - Aug 2016-Aug 2017
      - On Plants vs. Zombies 2, took ownership of "Power Plants" feature.
      - Designed new UX and features for PvZ2, and spearheaded content development.
      - Was principal designer on system for procedural level generation, dubbed "Inzanity."
      - Joined early development of Plants vs. Zombies 3.

      - Created high-definition mock-ups for new wedding planning tools.

      - Moved to Seattle, taking on a short contract for additional content design on Hungry Babies Mania.
